SAFF Group was established in 1993 as a general contractor in the offshore construction industry, with operations based in the Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea.  The Group consists of 4 companies that operate a broad range of EPCI projects in the offshore petroleum industry in the form of turn-key or management contracts. Core activities of the Group include:
• Installation, commissioning and repair of offshore structures for the petroleum industry
• Construction of ports, harbours and offshore terminals
• Marine pipeline and cable laying
• Demolition and removal of damaged marine installations
• Salvage of vessels and equipment
• Lease of barges and tugs
• Exploration and drilling for oil and gas
• Subsea surveying of marine structures and pipelines

SAFF Group aims at consolidating its position in the home and Middle East offshore market by strengthening its technological and project management base. Currently SAFF owns the largest maritime construction yard of Iran, located in Bandar Abbas. Benefiting from Free Economic zone rules & regulations and modern equipments and facilities, this yard is capable of fabricating 45,000 tones of steel structure per year.
